IT Hardware Administrator
Location: Liverpool
Contract Type: 3-Month Fixed Term Contract, Full-Time
Salary: £25,000 - £26,000 (Depending on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Join Our Team as an IT Hardware Administrator
Are you organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering excellent service? We're looking for a Hardware Administrator to support our IT Asset Management function, ensuring company hardware and assets are accurately tracked, recovered, and managed throughout their lifecycle. Based in Liverpool, you'll play a key role in coordinating asset retrieval activities and maintaining high-quality asset records.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing asset retrieval activities and working through collection lists.
- Contacting employees and stakeholders to arrange the return of IT equipment and company assets.
- Creating and maintaining collection transactions within asset management systems.
- Monitoring outstanding retrieval requests and proactively following up to ensure completion.
- Updating and maintaining accurate asset records, including location and status changes.
- Supporting the wider IT Asset Management team with administrative and reporting activities.
What We're Looking For
- Experience within IT hardware, service management, asset management, or a similar administrative role.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage with a variety of stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and accuracy when handling records and transactions.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
