About The Role

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours
Location: Head Office, Nottingham (Hybrid working, minimum 2 days per week)
A hands on Business Systems Engineer responsible for configuring, supporting and continuously improving Salesforce, Dynamics and other business critical platforms. Working closely with Product Owners, Engineers and business stakeholders, you'll deliver secure, scalable solutions, maintain platform health and data integrity, and drive improvements that enhance both user experience and operational efficiency.
You'll be a collaborative and service focused systems professional with strong SaaS platform expertise, excellent problem solving skills and a passion for improving systems and user experiences. You'll balance delivery pace with governance requirements while confidently engaging with both technical and non technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Platform Configuration & Administration - Configure, maintain and optimise Salesforce, Dynamics and other business systems to support business operations.
- System Enhancements - Deliver platform improvements through configuration, including workflows, automation, reporting and dashboards.
- User Support - Provide access management, issue resolution and day to day support to business users.
- Problem Solving - Diagnose and resolve system, data and integration issues to maintain service reliability.
- Stakeholder Collaboration - Translate business requirements into effective system solutions and platform changes.
- Integration Management - Support integrations between internal systems and third party applications.
- Data & Governance - Ensure data quality, security, compliance and appropriate governance controls across platforms.
- Release & Environment Management - Support deployments, manage environments and contribute to change and release processes.
Qualifications
- Business Systems Expertise - Strong understanding of Salesforce, Dynamics or similar SaaS platforms.
- Configuration Experience - Proven ability to configure workflows, security models, objects, fields and reporting capabilities.
- Integration Knowledge - Understanding of APIs, data flows and system integration principles.
- Data & Security Awareness - Knowledge of data governance, quality management, access controls and compliance requirements.
- Operational Support Experience - Experience supporting users and resolving production system issues.
- Stakeholder Management - Ability to gather requirements and communicate effectively with technical and non technical audiences.
- Delivery Mindset - Comfortable working within Agile environments and managing competing priorities.
- Personal Attributes - Ownership driven, pragmatic, collaborative and focused on continuous improvement and delivering great user outcomes.
