Office Administrator

Stockport - fully on site. Contract Type: Permanent, full time and reduced hours considered. Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum.

Our client, a dynamic organisation based in Stockport, is seeking a talented Office Administrator to join their team! Key Responsibilities
  • Answering calls with a warm and welcoming demeanour, providing information and guidance and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Greeting visitors to the office with a friendly smile, ensuring sign-in procedures are followed and facilitating meeting hospitality as required.
  • Processing new subcontractors in the system and managing timesheets.
  • Efficiently processing invoices through the system to ensure timely payments and smooth financial operations.
  • Requesting and uploading delivery notes as needed to maintain accurate records.
  • Managing incoming emails and forwarding messages to the appropriate team members to ensure effective communication.
  • Filing documentation in accordance with company policies to maintain an organised office environment.
  • Keeping an eye on office supplies and consumables, ordering new stock as required to keep our office running smoothly.
  • Assisting with petty cash and expenses as delegated by the management team.
  • Following company rules and procedures and ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety requirements.
  • Taking on any other reasonable tasks as required to support the team and enhance office productivity.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous administration experience
  • A positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Proficiency in using office software and ERP systems.
