Your salary, benefits & hours of work

• Up to 55,000, and company pension contributions of up to 10%.

• Working hours are 7:45 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday, and 7:45 am to 1:30 pm on Friday. You'll be based on site five days a week at a busy Cardiff manufacturing site.

What you'll do as the Lead Oracle Applications Developer

You'll join a small, close-knit IT team and take responsibility for Oracle EBS and APEX development at a large manufacturing business.

• Enhance, support and optimise the Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2) environment.
• Design and build modern Oracle APEX applications, both standalone and integrated with EBS.
• Lead requirements gathering with business users and run projects end-to-end.
• Troubleshoot complex technical and functional issues across EBS modules and interfaces.
• Maintain and enhance a small portfolio of supporting VB.NET and Python applications.
• Prototype new tools and process improvements to keep systems ahead of the business.

What you'll need to apply for the Lead Oracle Applications Developer position

• Oracle EBS experience, functional and technical.
• Oracle APEX experience.
• Able to own the full project lifecycle end to end, gathering requirements directly from business users rather than a heads-down-only developer.
• Able to work on site in Cardiff five days a week.
