Job Description

Due to some exciting projects, KONE has a position available as Fitter Tester. This role will be supporting our South Wales team.

Responsibilities

As a Fitter/Tester, you will carry out installations with the aim to test lifts, report the condition of the lift to the Construction Manager who is responsible for all site activities, provide snagging items to the Fitter and inform the supervisor, participate in meetings and work groups related to quality and technical issues, and be responsible for lift well security (safe for other trades and public) and the safety of all persons involved in installation activities during commissioning and testing of the lift (or escalator).

Qualifications
  • NVQ3 & NVQ4 in Testing or close to finishing
  • Experience of working with lifts
  • Driving license
  • Strong customer skills
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Excellent health and safety knowledge is essential for this role
