Job Description

Senior Technical Business Analyst
  • Perform root cause analysis of problems and work closely with business users to identify and translate their needs into solution designs and system specifications.
  • Work with development teams to design technical solutions that meet business needs.
  • Produce analysis, data mapping, and data analytical deliverables using SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Produce detailed Business Requirement Specification Documents.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across all levels, from c suite to on the ground developers, both internally and with clients.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios, coordinating with stakeholders, and validating solutions using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, and test management platforms.
  • Lead end to end project activities from workshops, through design, to delivery phases.
Qualifications
  • Business Analysis experience within a consultancy or public sector environment.
  • Proven track record of producing high quality Business Requirement Documents, business process mapping, and documentation.
  • Agile delivery experience and active participation within an Agile team.
  • Digital or application modernisation project experience.
  • Experience reviewing functional specification documents produced by peers to ensure alignment with business requirements specifications.
  • Experience on both large scale and smaller projects, responsible for defining and designing business solutions.
  • Strong SQL background and data analysis capability.
  • Confidence, articulation, and proactivity as a consultant.
  • Project management skills with the ability to plan, schedule work, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex processes to non experts.
