Job Description

CNC Grinding Setter/ Operator/ Programmer - 6770

Location: Worcester

Hours: Double Day Shift

Salary: Up to £41,000 including shift allowance

Key Responsibilities of a CNC Grinding Programmer/Setter/Operator

Setting and operating Studer cylindrical/universal grinding machines.
Producing a wide and varied range of highly toleranced parts.
Understanding Fanuc CNC controls with the ability to program, edit, and improve existing and new parts.
Working within a team of fellow engineers to strict health and safety guidelines.
Contributing to a positive workplace culture through health & safety improvements and kaizen initiatives.

Key Skills of a CNC Grinding Programmer/Setter/Operator Essential

Solid understanding of cylindrical and universal grinding.
Experience operating and setting CNC controls safely.
Positive, can-do attitude.
Previous experience working within a team in a busy manufacturing environment.

Desirable

Ability to program from drawing using Fanuc CNC controls.
CNC grinding knowledge.
Completion of a mechanical engineering apprenticeship.
