The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd) invites applications for a Surgical Exams Administrator position. This full time, permanent role is based in Edinburgh, UK, with a hybrid working model. Salary starts at £24,479 per year.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to Examination Coordinators for all surgical examinations.
• Maintain candidate and examiner records and manage application files.
• Handle general correspondence and telephone enquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
• Maintain high standards of academic integrity and confidentiality.
• Assist with administrative duties at exams, both in the UK and overseas, including occasional travel and working outside normal hours.
• Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum education of National 5 (or equivalent).
• Proven administrative, secretarial and database experience.
• Excellent communication and team working skills.
• Proficient in MS Office suite and able to prioritise workload with minimal supervision.
• High level of professionalism, diplomacy and willingness to adapt to change.
• Methodical, organised and conscientious approach to work.

Salary & Notice Period

Competitive salary starting at £24,479 per annum. Notice period to be discussed with successful candidate.
