IT Support Analyst

Senior Application Support Engineer - £52,000 - Hybrid (4 days per week in London)

La Fosse have partnered with an events company to recruit a senior application support engineer to support and enhance critical business systems, applications, and operational processes. This role would suit someone with a background in IT Operations, Service Desk, Application Support, Systems Support, or a similar technical support function who has experience working closely with software engineering teams.

Key requirements:

• Previous experience within IT Operations, Application Support, Systems Support, Service Desk, Technical Support, or a similar role.
• Experience using Jira for issue management, project delivery, and workflow tracking.
• Commercial experience with JavaScript is essential.
• Basic coding or scripting experience with PHP is highly desirable, although strong JavaScript experience will be considered.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and how operational teams support development processes.
• Comfortable supporting and implementing new systems and technologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skill
