Position Overview
Microbiology Engineer, Hull, part of the QA Microbiology team ensuring the safety and quality of products that improve patients' lives.
Responsibilities
- Perform microbiological testing across raw materials, environments, and finished products.
- Support the delivery of high quality laboratory testing and ensure compliance with stringent quality standards.
- Investigate non conformance and support validation activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to monitoring and trending of key data that supports manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with QA and production cross functional teams.
Qualifications
- Degree in a biological science or equivalent with at least three years of laboratory experience.
- Knowledge of GMP principles and microbiological control processes, including environmental and bioburden monitoring.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to accurately interpret and report data.
- Proactive problem solving and collaboration within cross functional teams.
- Confidence working in a structured laboratory environment and motivation to maintain high quality standards.
