Big Data Administrator / MongoDB - Chesterfield 45K + Bens

Location: East Midlands Industry: IT Salary: £37000 - £47000 per annum + Pension, Training

New Big Data Developer / Administrator role within a global software house. Responsible for building and maintaining a big data and analytics platform using technologies such as Kafka, Spark, MongoDB, Cassandra and SQL Server.

• Assess suitability of database technologies.
• Configure Hadoop and other big data ecosystem components.
• Design and implement batch data transformations and workflows.
• Ensure data quality and enterprise readiness.
• Implement security and governance.

• Recognised qualification in Big Data.
• Worked in a similar role.
• Strong database knowledge.
• Experience with streaming and batch data.
