We are hiring a FinOps Consultant to join our delivery team, working oncost governanceengagements across Azure and AWS. This is a client-facing role with a genuine mix of hands-on technical delivery and consulting responsibility: you will be expected to analyse cost data, build recommendations, and present them credibly to client stakeholders, not just produce the underlying numbers.A consultant who can run aFinOpsworkstreamlargely unsupervised, and who can hold an independent, evidence-based position with a client even when it is not the easiest or most vendor-convenient answer.

UseCloudabilityor equivalent FinOps tooling to build dashboards and reporting for clients.

Produce client-ready written analysis and recommendations, not just raw data outputs.

Work alongside senior consultants on largerengagements andlead smaller workstreams independently.

Comfortable building and interrogating cost dashboards in Excel or Power BI beyond basic pivot tables.

Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and commercial audiences.

Confident facilitating workshops and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders, including under challenge.

Clear written communication: able to turn analysis into a client-ready recommendation.

Must have the right to work in the UK, be a UK resident for a minimum of 5years,andbe able toattainUK Government SC Clearance.

Direct experience withCloudability,FlexeraOne,or an equivalent third-party FinOps platform.

Evidence ofa willingness tolearnniskey, aseducation and professional development opportunities are provided withinSynyega.

About the team
