Systems Engineer

PSS is the independent control and safety systems specialist. With offices in Aberdeen and Colchester, PSS provides control and safety system services to the energy industry including new system builds, system upgrades, system modifications and support and maintenance. PSS also has an in house software development team that develops and maintains industry leading software packages including the Process Safety Management System.

The successful Graduate Systems Engineer will be responsible for developing and deploying control and safety systems to improve current processes and operations for the energy industry.

You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of legacy and current technologies and be part of a dynamic and growing team that values innovation and creativity. This position provides the opportunity to further develop as an engineer through mentoring, on the job learning, further education, with the end goal of becoming a Chartered Engineer.

You shall perform office based systems engineering work as part of the System Engineering Team, using a wide variety of PLC and HMI systems as well as UK onshore and offshore site installation, commissioning and support work. This position requires a good understanding of electronic and software principles applied to control and safety systems.
