We are looking for a Lead M365 Analyst - SharePoint to join our Digital, Data and Technology service at Luton Council. This is an important role within our Technology and Infrastructure capability, helping us provide secure, resilient and effective Microsoft 365 services that support colleagues across the council and contribute to better outcomes for residents.
You will provide specialist technical support for our Microsoft 365 infrastructure and cloud environment, with a particular focus on SharePoint. Working with internal technical teams, project colleagues, service areas and external partners, you will help understand, document and deliver requirements for robust, repeatable and value for money technical outcomes.
The role will be central to the ongoing administration, configuration and improvement of SharePoint and related M365 services. You will help ensure platforms are well managed, secure, supportable and aligned with the council's technical architecture standards and information management needs.

About youYou will be an experienced technology professional with a strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint administration. You will be confident working across technical and non technical audiences, able to explain complex issues clearly and support colleagues to make informed decisions.
You will bring a practical, service focused approach to problem solving, with the ability to work accurately, manage priorities and deliver outcomes with limited supervision. You will also be comfortable working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, building trusted relationships that help the council get the best from its technology investment.
We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate experience of supporting Microsoft 365 solutions, applying ITIL based ways of working, contributing to secure and well governed technical environments, and using technology to improve reliability, productivity and user experience.
