Freelance Opportunity - Visual Arts Facilitator
Brewery Arts is a vibrant cinema, live arts venue, creative learning hub, restaurant and bar in Kendal, Cumbria.
We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and reliable Youth Visual Arts Facilitator to plan and deliver engaging weekly visual arts classes for young people. The facilitator will create a welcoming and inclusive environment where participants can explore artistic techniques, develop creative confidence, and express themselves through art.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, deliver and evaluate Brewery Youth Arts creative learning activity.
- Lead weekly sessions during term time, supporting local children and young people aged 0-16 years to access inclusive and compelling visual arts experiences.
- Empower participants to develop creative skills and confidence.
Session Schedule
- Home Educated Group (ages 7+) - Tuesdays 1pm - 2.30pm.
- After School Sessions - 7-16 years - Tuesdays 4pm-5.30pm.
- After School Sessions - 7-16 years - Wednesdays 4pm-5.30pm.
Job Details
- Job Reference: VA0726
- Hours of Work: 4.5 teaching hours and 4.5 hours of class administration per week
- Pay: £27.50 per hour for teaching and additional pay for class administration
- Contract: Freelance

- Practical Teaching Task & Interview: Tuesday 22 September or Wednesday 23 September
