Software Engineer - React, JavaScript, Frontend

Contract: Until 31 December 2026

Location: Manchester - Office based 4 days a week, 1 day Remote

Rate: £625 per Day - Inside IR35

The banking and finance arm of one of the world's leading engineering companies and a household name is seeking a Frontend, React, JavaScript Software Engineer, Software Developer

This role will be for a Front End software engineer who is experienced in their field. The individual will be working within a single team assisting with the creation of new Front End products for customers.

It is expected for the individual to be able to upskill individuals with the knowledge required around creating leading Front End applications.

Main Skills & Experience Required:

> Proficiency in JavaScript

> Expert in React Framework

> HTML & CSS

> DevOps practices (CI/CD, version control)

> Component-Based architecture

> Leadership - Agile

Desirable (not essential) Skills Preferred:

# Software engineering (Backend) - Networking (Subnets, Firewall, Load balancing, VPN configurations) - Security and identity management - Monitoring and logging - Problem-Solving and debugging

# Any experience with financial, credit, risk applications would be favourable but not essential
