Job Description
This role will play a key part within the Services job family working on the RON Project. It is a temporary role lasting approximately 18 months, responsible for overall administration rights for the RON related systems. The role holder must be knowledgeable on the RON architecture, understand procedures for service failures and handle escalations from O&M staff. It is an on site position with a 24/7 shift pattern at locations such as Palestra or Waterloo.
Key Responsibilities
- Group Policy Maintenance
- Managing and processing new starters, movers and leavers
- Passwords Resets
- Active Directory Management
- Storage Management
- Backup and Disaster Recovery (obtaining VMs from the back ups and importing them)
- Virtualisation Management
- Server Maintenance and Upgrades
- Log in / log off activities for new systems and applications
- Distributed file storage and sharing
- Management and admin rights for IT infrastructure (Windows, Nagios, Splunk, etc.)
- Management and admin rights for distribution network (Nokia NSP, IP/MPLS)
- Resolving faults with the RON management systems (including re installation if needed)
- Run book (Service Centre Technical Document)
- Use of Metrix
