Rebellion is seeking an experienced Senior Online Developer to build and support internal and external web APIs for our game engine team.
Key Outcomes
- Produce performant and well documented code.
- Develop and deploy new tools to support our game teams.
- Respond to bugs and issues promptly.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and deploy web applications to support our in house engine team.
- Maintain and improve existing tools.
- Develop integrations with third party APIs.
- Support application deployments.
- Communicate with other teams.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with Node.js, JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Knowledge of front end frameworks such as Vue and React.
- Experience with MySQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with AWS or equivalent cloud environments.
- Experience with software development tools and version control (Git, Perforce).
- Capacity to learn new technologies quickly.
- Experience with PHP or other languages is desirable.
- Experience writing serverless functions (AWS Lambda / Azure Functions) is a bonus.
