Lead Software Developer - C# AWS React

Location: East Midlands

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum plus extensive benefits package

Market leading client with sites throughout the UK is looking for a Lead Engineer / Software Team Leader with experience in AWS, C#, Typescript, React, Next.js, Dynamo DB, Serverless, Lambda, and microservices architecture. The role involves leading a team, hands on development of next generation solutions, and collaborating with senior IT leaders.

• Lead and manage a development team, either through project leadership or line management.
• Participate hands on in developing and deploying serverless microservices on AWS.
• Design and build cloud applications, including DynamoDB based services and AWS Lambda functions.
• Collaborate with Senior IT leaders on architecture and strategy.
• Maintain code quality, security, and compliance across the platform.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

• Strong experience building software for AWS environments.
• Proficiency in C# or Typescript.
• Experience with React, Next.js, Serverless architecture, and cloud services.
• Background in designing microservices architecture and transactional IT systems.
• Solid knowledge of Agile practices.
• Ability to mentor and lead technical teams.

Competitive starting salary of £75,000 - £80,000+, extensive benefits package; hybrid working model with an office presence one day per week (or less). Right to work in the UK required.
