Senior Account Manager, Grid Systems Integration
Location: Stafford, UK. Permanent position. Hybrid working model.
Role
Lead commercial strategy and relationship development with National Grid and key UK stakeholders to secure a significant share of the electrification market. Act as the primary advocate for clients, translating decarbonization and energy goals into tailored, high impact electrification solutions. Foster long term partnerships, drive sustainable growth, and ensure technology remains at the forefront of the energy transition.
Responsibilities
- Drive account growth by identifying and capturing strategic opportunities that align with electrification and sustainability objectives.
- Build trusted, high level relationships with key customer stakeholders, including C suite leaders.
- Develop robust sales plans that maximize volume and profitability while aligning with regional and global strategic goals.
- Lead commercial negotiations from initial engagement through contract finalization, mitigating risks and ensuring governance.
- Foster strategic alliances and partnerships that enhance project development and competitive positioning.
- Collaborate across internal teams, including marketing and technical specialists, to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Qualifications
- Strategic and relationship focused professional able to navigate complex business landscapes and translate technical requirements into profitable solutions.
- Ability to build and influence stakeholder relationships at the highest levels of an organization.
- In depth knowledge of the UK energy market, particularly within transmission, distribution, or industrial electrification.
- Experience in end to end B2B account management and successful contract negotiation.
- Strong interest in sustainability and the application of cutting edge electrification technologies.
- Formal education with a university Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering is a plus; total experience and professional achievements are paramount.

Permanent role based in the Stafford office with a hybrid working arrangement, allowing flexibility to work from both office and home.
