Customer & Market Data Analyst - Year in Industry

Are you passionate about data and curious about how it shapes real business decisions? Join us as a Customer & Market Data Analyst (Year in Industry) and gain hands on experience turning market intelligence and customer data into actionable insights that drive sales and marketing success. In this internship you will be working with Atlas Copco Vacuum team, part of the Atlas Copco Group, General Vacuum customer centre.

What you'll be doing

In this role, you'll work at the heart of our commercial activity, helping teams make smarter, data led decisions.

  • Analyse market and industry data
    Turn complex external insights into clear recommendations that shape marketing and lead generation strategies.
  • Build customer insights and segmentation
    Identify and profile customers based on industry, behaviour, and location to support targeted campaigns and account planning.
  • Deliver sales performance reporting
    Produce daily and monthly reports tracking orders, customer growth, and performance versus market trends.
  • Drive market research and lead generation
    Spot new opportunities, untapped sectors, and potential leads - working with sales teams to prioritise and qualify prospects.
  • Collaborate across teams
    Partner with sales, marketing, and leadership to bring data to life and support strategic planning.

To succeed, you will need
  • To be an undergraduate, studying a degree in either Economics and/or Business.
  • Strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in data and insights.
  • Solid Excel skills (with knowledge of other Microsoft Office tools).
  • Good communication and presentation skills.The ability to interpret data, identify trends, and suggest improvements.
  • A collaborative mindset, with confidence to work independently.
