The Worldwide Sustainability Regulatory Reporting team is looking for a detail focused, results-oriented and collaborative individual to support Amazon's global sustainability disclosure processes. Your work will help scale Amazon's regulatory reporting infrastructure and deliver high quality sustainability disclosures by partnering cross functionally to understand Amazon's sustainability programs and key metrics.
You will be the single threaded owner of the ISSB reporting for all in-scope Amazon legal entities globally. This includes scoping applicable requirements, designing the disclosure framework, directing data collection from cross functional owners, drafting all narrative and quantitative disclosures, managing internal review and sign off processes, coordinating external assurance, and delivering the final report to senior leadership for approval. You will establish and enforce the control environment around these disclosures-ensuring documented data lineage, evidence retention, review procedures, and a complete audit trail from source system to published metric. To achieve this, you will work cross functionally with worldwide sustainability, partner teams, legal, finance, and accounting and will present results to senior leadership.
To do well in this role, you must be able to confidently handle complex projects and provide a point of view in situations of high ambiguity. You must also show good judgment to continually improve Amazon's business model to develop robust and integrated reporting efforts and enhance emerging sustainability reporting best practices.
