Job Description

At AO, we're all about using data to make smarter decisions and create brilliant customer experiences - and that's where you come in. As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping how we build, move and use data across the business. You'll be part of a collaborative, forward thinking tech team, designing scalable solutions that power everything from analytics to innovation. If you love solving complex problems, enjoy working with modern cloud tech, and want to make a real impact, this could be the perfect next step.

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

You'll be designing and building robust data pipelines that keep our data flowing smoothly and reliably, using AWS tools like Redshift, Glue, Spectrum and Lambda. Working closely with teams across AO, you'll turn business needs into practical, scalable solutions that help unlock the value of our data. You'll continuously improve performance, reliability and cost efficiency across our data systems, while making sure everything is secure and compliant. From setting up automated deployments using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines, to troubleshooting issues and documenting your work, you'll help keep things running seamlessly. You'll also share your knowledge with others in the team, helping to coach and support colleagues as we grow.
