Data Engineer required to join a leading organisation delivering large-scale data and digital transformation programmes across the UK public sector on a predominantly remote basis. Must be actively SC Cleared.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, enhance and support data pipelines for ingestion, transformation and curation of data
• Design and implement secure, scalable and high-performing data integration solutions
• Work closely with product teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality data products
• Optimise and maintain data platforms to ensure reliability, performance and security
• Share best practices, support team development and contribute to engineering standards
• Collaborate within Agile, multidisciplinary delivery teams

Essential Skills

• Active SC clearance needed
• Strong SQL and data modelling experience
• Hands-on experience with Talend
• Experience working with Pentaho Business Analytics (BA)
• Strong knowledge of Oracle databases
• Experience delivering data solutions within AWS cloud environments
• Solid understanding of data engineering principles including integration, transformation, orchestration and version control
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
