CNC Programmer
Salary: £33,376 - £40,677 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with regular paid overtime available
Are you an experienced CNC Programmer looking to join a well-established engineering business where quality, precision and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything they do?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a skilled manufacturing team producing high-quality precision components using modern CNC milling machinery. You'll play a key role in programming, setting and operating CNC machines while working on a varied range of components in a clean, professional engineering environment.
What you'll be doing
- Programming CNC milling machines using G & M Code, Fusion 360 and/or Heidenhain software
- Setting and operating Haas, Fanuc and Heidenhain controlled CNC milling machines
- Producing precision components accurately and efficiently to engineering drawings
- Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings with metric dimensions
- Inspecting your own work to ensure components meet specification and quality standards
- Supporting the day-to-day organisation and housekeeping of the workshop
- Working safely while contributing to continuous improvement across the production team
What we're looking for
We're keen to speak with CNC Programmers who can demonstrate experience in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Experience programming CNC milling machines
- Knowledge of G & M Code, Fusion 360 and/or Heidenhain programming
- Experience setting and operating Haas, Fanuc and/or Heidenhain control systems
- The ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately
- A good understanding of machining processes and mechanical engineering principles
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- The ability to manage your workload effectively and work both independently and as part of a team
