Your Impact
At Consultant level, you will support the delivery of defined technical tasks and contribute to project outputs, while developing your professional, technical and consultancy skills under guidance.
Technical Delivery
- Undertake geospatial analysis, data processing and mapping tasks to support project delivery
- Work with spatial datasets to generate insights for infrastructure planning and design projects
- Apply standard tools and methodologies, ensuring consistency and quality of outputs
- Support the development of data visualisation and digital deliverables
- Contribute to the integration of GIS within wider digital engineering (e.g. BIM/GIS workflows)
Project & Client Contribution
- Deliver assigned tasks to time, cost and quality requirements
- Support project teams in achieving client outcomes through effective use of data
- Contribute to clear and structured outputs, including maps, dashboards and reports
- Participate in project meetings and begin to engage with, initially internal, clients where appropriate
Collaboration & Team Working
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams across infrastructure sectors
- Build effective working relationships with colleagues and project stakeholders
- Contribute positively to team knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives
Digital & Innovation Mindset
- Demonstrate curiosity and willingness to explore new tools and digital workflows
- Support the adoption of automation and efficiency improvements where appropriate

About You
We are looking for a motivated early-career professional with a good foundation in geospatial technologies and a desire to grow within a consultancy environment.
Typical Experience & Requirements
- Experience in a GIS/geospatial role
- A relevant degree (e.g. GIS, Geography, Geospatial Science, Engineering or similar)
- Experience using GIS platforms, ideally Esri ArcGIS (Pro, Online, Enterprise)
- Understanding of geospatial data management and analysis principles
- Exposure to tools such as Python, SQL, ModelBuilder or FME
- Good communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving
- Experience or interest in infrastructure sectors such as transport, urban development or planning is advantageous but not essential.
