Help build the next generation of cloud infrastructure for one of the UK's leading Tier 1 banks.
We're looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer with a passion for AWS, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Automation and Cloud Engineering to design and deliver secure, scalable and highly resilient cloud platforms. Working within a modern engineering environment, you'll collaborate with Software Engineers, Architects, Product Owners and Platform teams to build self service infrastructure products, enhance CI/CD pipelines and engineer cloud platforms that are secure, observable, resilient and built for operational excellence.
What You'll Be DoingMinimum 6 years' commercial experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
Strong commercial AWS experience including:Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience developing automation using Python and/or Shell (Bash) scripting.
Commercial experience building and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
Experience designing reusable Terraform modules and automation frameworks.
Experience supporting modern Platform Engineering solutions.
Strong Linux administration skills.
Experience supporting production cloud platforms.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Willingness to participate in an out of hours support rota.
Observability Tooling Experience with the following:Logging, monitoring and alerting best practices.

SalaryLondon: £80,520 - £100,000
Edinburgh/National: £60,000 - £75,000
