Job Description

Audit Tools Manager - Audit Quality Department (AQD)

London (Baker Street Office), primarily based in the firm's London headquarters with collaboration opportunities across the UK and global network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with AQD members and the audit stream.
  • Supervise a team of executives of varying grades, with support from other Tools Team managers.
  • Manage tools related projects and tasks, such as development of assurance libraries and software testing.
  • Provide support for audit tools, including identification of common support trends, maintenance of a knowledge base of known issues, and performing a quality control function.
  • Ensure performance of control activities as part of the firm's System of Quality Management.
  • Liaise with IT on matters relating to audit tools.
  • Write and update guidance on tools related matters.
  • Develop and deliver tools related training within AQD.
  • Undertake any training or development required by the firm or AQD.
  • Participate in group, stream and firm wide activities such as AQD learning and team building sessions.
  • Manage other ad hoc tasks as needed.
Qualifications
  • University degree.
  • Qualified Accountant or Part Qualified Accountant.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate and share ideas.
  • Takes personal responsibility and accountability for own work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Interest in IT with good IT skills including Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • High attention to detail.
