Senior Java Backend Developer

Senior Java Backend Developer East London & Essex Border, UK £590 per day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella) 4 Days per Week On Site

We are partnering with the original line-assembly automotive manufacturer and are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to join a small, Agile team.

You'll play a key role in developing and enhancing the core digital platform that underpins the organisation's identity infrastructure. Working closely with fellow developers through pair programming, you'll help drive technical excellence while mentoring junior team members and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing culture.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach to delivering high-quality products.
• Strong Java backend development experience.
• Recent hands on experience with OAuth 2.0, including customising identity workflows.
• Ability to lead technical discussions, mentor team members, and explain complex solutions to others.
