Infrastructure Engineer

A growing organisation is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join a project-focused team delivering modern infrastructure solutions across Microsoft and cloud environments.

This is a hands on role, ideal for someone looking to move away from BAU support into infrastructure delivery, working across Azure, hybrid and on prem environments.

• Delivering infrastructure projects across Microsoft and Azure environments
• Supporting migrations, upgrades and system improvements
• Working on hybrid infrastructure solutions
• Troubleshooting and optimising performance across client environments
• Producing technical documentation and following best practices

• Experience in a 3rd line or infrastructure role
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Windows Server / Active Directory
  • Microsoft 365
• Hands on experience with Azure (or AWS)
• Virtualisation (VMware or Hyper V)
• Understanding of networking and security fundamentals

• Project-focused role (not support-heavy)
• Exposure to modern cloud and hybrid environments
