Our team is expanding and we have ambitious plans to grow the business across Property and Casualty and all Specialty lines of business and become the reinsurance broker of the future.
Responsibilities
- Crafting and delivering new reinsurance opportunities and growing revenue with existing and future clients.
- Playing an active role in delivering strategic growth initiatives, responding to tenders and handling high value deals.
- Serving as a point of contact for key clients, ensuring high levels of service and responsiveness.
- Conducting strategic reviews, renewal planning, and risk advisory sessions with clients.
- Identifying cross selling and upselling opportunities across Willis Re's portfolio.
- Analyzing underwriting data, loss trends, pricing models, and market capacity to inform placement strategies.
- Using data visualisation tools to present insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborating with actuarial and analytics teams to assess portfolio performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Monitoring exposure accumulations and modeling catastrophe scenarios for specialty risks.
- Assisting with the structuring, negotiation, and placement of reinsurance programmes across specialty lines.
- Developing bespoke solutions tailored to client risk profiles and market conditions.
- Maintaining strong relationships with global reinsurers to secure optimal terms and capacity.
- Tracking global developments in specialty risk sectors and regulatory environments.
- Contributing to the development of new reinsurance products and coverage enhancements.
- Ensuring all placements and documentation meet internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Overseeing transaction workflows, reporting, and audit readiness.
- Contributing to process improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous proven reinsurance broking experience.
- Strong understanding of reinsurance structures.
- Advanced negotiation skills and deep market relationships with global reinsurers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client facing skills.
- Ability to manage complex placements under tight timelines.
- Degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field; professional designations (e.g., ACII) beneficial.
