Attensi is a tech company founded in Norway that specialises in gamified simulation training. Since 2012 we have grown globally, with solutions used by leading brands in 150+ countries across 50+ languages.

We combine gamification, realistic interactive scenarios and decision driven dialogues powered by our own game AI to deliver engaging, high impact training that scales across large organisations.

We work with some of the world's largest brands across energy, retail, hospitality, pharma, professional services and more - including Circle K, The Boston Consulting Group, PwC, Accenture, KPMG, ABB, Zurich and Novartis. We currently have over 220 business development professionals across Europe and the US.

Business Development Director - Pharmaceutical Sector

Based in London, you will focus on the UK and European markets, with international work required as we pursue growth worldwide. You will identify and pursue opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector, building relationships with C level executives and driving new business.

Responsibilities
  • Identify ideal customers, initiate conversations and secure meetings with decision makers using our playbook, "Attensi way of selling."
  • Prospect, generate leads and increase awareness in the professional services space through industry events, exhibitions and webinars.
  • Map and specify organisational challenges, training and development needs together with prospective customers.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team to provide operational support and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Work closely with the broader commercial team and overall organisation to develop best practices and grow the business.
Qualifications
  • BSc degree or higher.
  • Client facing experience in pharmaceuticals or medical devices, either through new business sales, account management, account direction or strategic roles such as product manager.
  • Experience building strong, trusting relationships with prospects and clients to become a trusted partner.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven ability to establish relationships with C xOs and directors of large corporations.
  • Experience managing, growing or developing relationships with large pharmaceutical or medical device clients (new logo acquisition, account growth, long term partnerships).

Previous experience in business development, enterprise sales, strategic account management or account direction is ideal. We welcome candidates who have built and grown relationships with major pharma clients from an account led but still new business background.
