Salary: £38,689 per annum (Grade C) plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and hybrid working options.

Arts Council England is transforming into a more user centred, service led organisation. As a Service Designer, you will help us understand, design and improve services for the creative and cultural sector. You will work across teams to map current services, identify gaps, and design improvements that are simpler, more inclusive and effective. This includes collaborating with policy, operations, digital and data teams to shape end to end services that meet real user needs.

About You
You will have experience applying service design methods to understand and improve services, mapping end to end journeys and identifying opportunities for improvement. You understand user centred design principles, are comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams, and have strong facilitation and communication skills. You can balance user needs with organisational priorities and constraints, and are aware of accessibility and inclusive design principles. Experience in the public sector, familiarity with Government Digital Service approaches and knowledge of how digital, data and technology support service delivery are beneficial.
