BBC EXTENDThis role is advertised as part of our BBC Extend programme for disabled people. PURPOSE OF THE ROLEBBC Naidheachdan is a daily Gaelic news service for everyone. It is important for us to have stories and voices from every community on all our services and platforms. We are looking for a talented digital and online journalist who will bring these stories to our BBC Naidheachdan website and to our social media platforms. We want to develop strong links with our communities. You will prioritise telling these stories online and on social media first. Your stories may also appear on our linear radio and television services.

We are particularly interested in hearing from those we do not currently see often on our existing platforms or on any other news outlet. It is essential that you are creative with an excellent contact base and work well as part of a team.
