Senior Integration, Verification, Validation & Qualification (IVVQ) Engineer
Location: Bradford on Avon, Greater London, United Kingdom (On Site)
Project Engineering function is seeking a Senior IVVQ Engineer to lead system integration and testing for rail solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with engineering disciplines and stakeholders to deliver projects.
- Identify and close site defects, technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and engineering issues.
- Understand and lead project delivery processes, methodologies, and use defined tools per the GTS Management System.
- Keep up to date with latest technologies, tools, and trends in IVVQ development.
- Support Work Package Managers with status, progress measurement, forecasting, and risk identification.
- Act as WPM and lead IVVQ team operationally when appointed.
- Interface with client to gain approval of test specifications and host acceptance testing activities.
- Write and approve test plans, strategy documents, and specifications.
- Execute test specifications, record results, raise and investigate defects, and maintain quality standards.
- Identify and implement verification methods (IADT).
Technical Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in systems development and IVVQ principles.
- Strong proficiency in SQL database querying and data analysis.
- Experience with networking technologies (Cisco, Netgear switches), Windows and Linux configuration, troubleshooting, and design review.
- Software testing experience, including test automation and Python scripting.
- Understanding of system architecture and integration principles.
- Linux system configuration (CentOS, RHEL6, Ubuntu) and bash scripting.
- Familiarity with IBM DOORS for requirements management.
- Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies, JIRA, and DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven experience testing and integrating complex system applications.
- Solid grasp of system architecture and design patterns.
- Experience with configuration control and IVVQ tool development.

- Driver's licence - Preferred
- IRSE Electronics Systems Licence - Nice to have
