Advanced Structural Blade Repair Technician / Blade D for Offshore Project in UK

We are currently looking for an experienced Advanced Structural Blade Repair Technician (Blade D) to join an upcoming offshore wind turbine blade repair project in the UK. This role involves leading and mentoring teams of technicians while performing high-quality, complex blade repairs up to Category 5, including structural and specialty repairs. The ideal candidate is physically capable, safety minded, and experienced with composite materials such as epoxy and polyester resins, balsa, foam, and fiberglass reinforcement.

Duration: 6 weeks

Location: Scotland

Scope: Snagging, Complex Blade Repairs and inspections

• Proven experience in advanced structural blade repair
• Ability to work safely at height and in rope access environments
• Valid certification portfolio as listed below

• GWO BST
• GWO Sea Survival
• GWO Enhanced First Aid
• GWO Advanced Rescue (both Hub and Nacelle)
• GWO Slinger Signaler
• Spot on metal
• Epoxy e learnings
• Siemens e learnings
• OGUK or RUK/Chester Step
• IRATA 1/2/3

It is preferred if you have experience working as an AT on SG 8.0-167 DD.

Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

Candidates who do not hold a Blade D certificate will not be considered for this position.
