Job Overview
Salary Range: £80,000 - £90,000. Leonardo UK operates a grade-based salary framework with broad bands. The salary range shown reflects the approved grade band for this role, or a narrower hiring range published within that band, and is benchmarked against the external market. Exceptions above the standard range are managed through governance controls to protect internal equity.
Primary Location: Luton - Cap Green 300. Contract Type: Permanent. Working Arrangement: Hybrid (International).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical aspects of software development across fixed, drone, and rotary programmes.
- Consider requirements, architecture, tooling, governance and test as part of your role.
- Support and influence across the wider business, engaging with other disciplines and senior leadership.
Qualifications and Experience
- High integrity / critical software development in an aerospace or similar environment (Nuclear, Rail, Finance, Medical, etc).
- Experience across all aspects of the software development life cycle.
- Demonstrable experience in delivering software projects.
- Good attitude and willingness to learn. (This is the most important skill.)
