Job Type: Days based, Perm

Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 DOE

Hours: Flexible 37hr week Mon-Fri

Location: Abingdon

Our client is a precision machining company, run by engineers, not accountants, providing a complete one stop shop service for high quality, low quantity and experimental components and assemblies. They love high quality complex components and short lead times. A specialist in short, they are a specialist sub contract manufacturer, with CNC and full assembly capabilities.

• Work in all types of raw material from Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Copper, Brass through to Plastics.
• Small batch work
• Doosan Puma machines with Fanuc

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective problem solving skills
• Ability to work alone or as part of a small team
• Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality
• Previous experience within the aerospace tool making industry advantageous
• Engineering apprenticeship as a tool maker or equivalent
