The RoleThis is a regional, field based business development role focused on generating and securing new B2B clients across the Southwest. Reporting to senior commercial leadership, you will take ownership of territory planning, pipeline creation, and closing new opportunities through a consultative, value led approach.
You will be supported by an internal SDR function and lead generation tools, allowing you to focus on high quality engagement and relationship building with decision makers.
Key ResponsibilitiesAchieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Develop and implement a clear territory growth plan for the Southwest
Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified prospects
Lead structured, consultative sales processes with senior stakeholders
Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to onboarding
Maintain accurate CRM records and effectively manage your sales funnel
Drive urgency and maximise commercial value at closing stage
Essential:
Consistent track record of new business development and quota achievement
Experience in consultative, solution based B2B sales
Exposure to selling into larger organisations with complex buying structures
Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
Self driven, organised, and commercially focused mindset
Confident user of CRM systems
Interest in sustainability, ESG, or environmental performance improvement
Desirable:
Previous experience in energy, sustainability, or compliance related services
Ideally from renewables, consultancy, or tech backgrounds
