The team defines and governs the design brief, performance requirements, and engineering standards, ensuring solutions are resilient, compliant, and aligned with Vantage's scaling strategy.MCE leads consultant and contractor technical engagement, establishes robust technical baselines, and drives informed engineering decisions to optimise cost, programme, and performance. The team ensures design solutions are buildable, scalable, and aligned across all disciplines, integrating CSA, MEP, ICT, and Security requirements into a coordinated and constructible solution.In parallel, MCE leads and drives product and platform development initiatives, including standardisation, OFCI, and DFMA strategies, enabling repeatable, high-quality infrastructure delivery across the EMEA portfolio. Through strong governance, technical assurance, and continuous improvement, MCE enables efficient, safe, and predictable project outcomes and supports speed to market and capital efficiency.Position OverviewVantage is seeking a Principal Architect- Digital & Asset Integration to join the Mission Critical Engineering (MCE) team within the CTO organisation in EMEA. This Principal-level role integrates architectural design authority with digital information governance and end-to-end lifecycle design, data integrity, and asset intelligence across Vantage's EMEA portfolio.This role is responsible for delivering data-driven, platform-based data centre solutions across the EMEA portfolio, ensuring continuity from early-stage design through to operations. It establishes the frameworks, standards, and governance required to enable structured digital delivery, modern methods of construction (or DfMA), and operational asset integration.Operating at a regional EMEA level, the role defines and assures:Architectural design strategy and platform standardisationInformation governance aligned to ISO 19650Digital delivery assurance and portfolio-wide consistencyLifecycle digital asset integration and operational readinessData environments supporting analytics, AI, and digital twin enablementKey ResponsibilitiesArchitectural & Platform Design LeadershipLead architectural scope across early-stage development (WS0-WS2), including feasibility, test fits, and concept designDefine and evolve scalable, repeatable design solutions aligned to
