• We require 6-8+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, including leadership of large-scale programmes.

• We prefer TOGAF or an equivalent architecture certification.
• We prefer experience within airline or transport operations systems, such as scheduling, flight planning, or disruption management.
• We prefer strong ability to translate business requirements into scalable IT solutions.

• We provide architecture leadership across a mission level initiative, defining and owning the overall solution vision.
• We shape end to end solutions spanning multiple teams, platforms, and technology domains.
• We establish architecture guardrails, principles, reusable patterns, and reference designs.
• We collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Delivery leads to ensure aligned execution.
• We ensure solutions align with enterprise strategy, standards, and long term goals.
• We identify and mitigate cross team dependencies, integration risks, and architectural gaps.
• We lead architecture governance and ensure compliance with design standards.
• We define and design integrations, shared services, and data flows across the ecosystem.

We are seeking an experienced Lead Solution Architect to drive end to end solution design across a strategic programme within the airline operations domain. This is a high impact hybrid role based in Luton, with 2 to 3 days per week onsite, starting as soon as possible. The contract is initially for 12 months and is inside IR35. You will work at the intersection of architecture, delivery, and product, helping us set technical direction, establish guardrails, and enable teams to deliver scalable, cohesive, and business aligned solutions while maintaining architectural integrity.
