Job Description

Salary: £70,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements
  • Strong commercial experience with React, NodeJS, and MongoDB
  • Exposure to React Native or mobile development experience
  • Proven background as a Full Stack Engineer
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior and mid-level engineers
  • Natural leadership ability within technical teams
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Technical credibility combined with the ability to support and guide others
  • Formal line management experience is not essential
Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a small team of developers
  • Remain hands on across full stack development
  • Provide technical direction, code reviews, and engineering best practice
  • Deliver and enhance web and mobile applications
  • Collaborate with architecture, infrastructure, and wider digital teams
  • Support continuous improvement of engineering standards and delivery
  • Take ownership of a small engineering team
  • Influence technical direction and how software is delivered across the business
