Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with React, NodeJS, and MongoDB
- Exposure to React Native or mobile development experience
- Proven background as a Full Stack Engineer
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior and mid-level engineers
- Natural leadership ability within technical teams
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Technical credibility combined with the ability to support and guide others
- Formal line management experience is not essential
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a small team of developers
- Remain hands on across full stack development
- Provide technical direction, code reviews, and engineering best practice
- Deliver and enhance web and mobile applications
- Collaborate with architecture, infrastructure, and wider digital teams
- Support continuous improvement of engineering standards and delivery
- Take ownership of a small engineering team
- Influence technical direction and how software is delivered across the business
