£28,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements
  • 3-5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, data engineering, or automation roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Python.
  • Hands on experience with SQL and Snowflake.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Experience working with CRM data, with Salesforce preferred.
  • Solid understanding of data modelling, analytics, and data quality principles.
  • Preferable degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Bonus: exposure to machine learning or advanced analytics.
  • Bonus: experience with cloud data platforms.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain robust ETL and ELT data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Snowflake.
  • Cleans, transform, and validate large datasets to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Manage scheduled data loads and perform ongoing data quality checks.
  • Support and contribute to data governance, standards, and documentation.
  • Deliver high quality, curated datasets for reporting and business analysis.
  • Support the development of KPIs, dashboards, and analytical models.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data, integration, and reporting issues.
  • Build and optimise solutions using Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Integrate and manage CRM data, including Salesforce, to support business processes.
  • Identify and implement automation and process improvement opportunities across workflows.

About the Role

We are a leading engineering organisation based in Larne, Northern Ireland, offering an on site 12 month contract role working 37.5 hours per week with flexible start and finish times, typically 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. This is a hands on position focused on data engineering, analytics, and automation within a complex engineering environment, where you will help build data pipelines, deliver analytical insights, and support data driven decision making across the business.
