The role
As Enterprise Architect, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how technology enables our business to deliver critical defence, aerospace and engineering programmes. This is a strategic, high-impact position where you'll influence enterprise-wide decisions, align technology with business objectives, and ensure our digital landscape evolves to meet future challenges.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise architecture discussions and influence senior stakeholders across the organisation.
- Develop and maintain technology strategies aligned to business goals.
- Establish architectural principles, standards and governance across all domains.
- Create and present enterprise architecture models and roadmaps.
- Identify opportunities to optimise platforms through consolidation, reuse and innovation.
Essential Experience
- Strong experience in enterprise or solution architecture and architecture modelling tools.
- Translate business strategy into actionable technology roadmaps.
- Interpret complex business requirements into scalable, sustainable solutions.
- Align technology architecture with organisational goals and priorities.
- Experience with modern technologies such as microservices, APIs, data platforms and cybersecurity principles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Professional certifications such as TOGAF, MCSE, CCNA or equivalent (preferred).
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
