Senior Cyber Security & Network Analyst

Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year

• We require 5-7 years of dedicated experience implementing, supporting, and developing complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 network architectures.
• We require proven experience leading and performing new network installations and physical and logical kit builds.
• We require deep technical proficiency configuring and supporting Cisco Nexus switching frameworks and Aruba Wi Fi environments.
• We require solid understanding of network load balancing mechanisms and coordination of third party penetration testing.
• We require strong secondary expertise in cyber security, including administering Palo Alto firewalls and their next generation service suites.
• We require experience using Qualys Vulnerability Management tools and endpoint detection and remediation software.
• We highly value experience working within SOX compliance frameworks and fast paced data environments.
• We expect candidates to provide project examples demonstrating hands on leadership in network or security kit deployments.

• We lead the configuration, assembly, installation, and deployment of new network and security hardware.
• We maintain detailed and accurate engineering documentation.
• We own, optimise, and scale our Layer 2 and Layer 3 network environment.
• We manage Cisco Nexus routing, LAN and WAN frameworks, wireless networks, B2B links, and network load balancing solutions.
• We spearhead mid to large scale infrastructure initiatives from inception through completion.
• We ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget.
• We demonstrate the business value of our technical decisions across deployments.
• We oversee next generation Palo Alto firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and data encryption protocols.
• We monitor SIEM platforms and threat feeds to identify, investigate, isolate, and remediate vulnerabilities.
• We partner with internal technical teams and coordinate with external vendor partners.
• We coach and advise team members to support continuous improvement.
