Requirements
  • Strong commercial experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript development.
  • Previous experience in a Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, Lead Engineer, or Senior Technical Leadership role.
  • Experience building and scaling SaaS or product led platforms.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and clean code principles.
  • Experience working in cloud native, CI/CD, and DevSecOps environments.
  • Passion for engineering excellence, mentoring others, and solving complex technical challenges.
  • Interest in AI assisted software development and modern engineering practices.
Responsibilities
  • Lead solution design, architecture, and technical decision making.
  • Collaborate with Product teams to shape requirements and delivery plans.
  • Build and deploy production software in a fast paced environment.
  • Drive engineering best practices, code quality, and maintainability.
  • Support systems in production and improve platform performance.
  • Act as a senior technical leader within an AI enabled engineering environment.
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to design, build, and scale modern software solutions.

This is a hands on technical leadership role within a mature engineering environment, where we offer significant technical influence across products and platform direction, a modern engineering culture focused on quality, innovation, and continuous improvement, and flexible remote first working with limited onsite requirements. The role is UK only, with remote hybrid working and just 4 to 6 office visits per year.
