We are evolving into a RegTech Business Services platform, and this senior role reports directly to our CEO with a broad mandate to shape our technology future. This is a hybrid role based in London EC4R with a competitive salary of £170,000+ plus a 20% performance related bonus and excellent benefits, including 30 days annual leave, a 20% share package, hybrid working, life assurance, Vitality private healthcare, subsidised gym memberships, cycle to work, discount vouchers, and wellbeing resources. Requirements
- We need deep expertise in cloud architecture across AWS, Azure, or GCP, including large scale, resilient system design and frameworks such as Well Architected.
- We need strong experience in Enterprise Architecture, solution design, and delivering complex technology transformations at scale.
- We need proven capability in modern engineering practices, including containerisation, CI/CD pipelines, Agile delivery, and code quality tooling.
- We need a strong understanding of data platforms, visualisation, and product management principles, with the ability to translate market and technology trends into compelling roadmaps.
- We need experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and/or Dynamics 365, e learning platforms, and data led or information services environments.
- We need demonstrable success leading M&A technology integration, from due diligence through to post acquisition execution.
- We need a strong research orientation and a passion for identifying, assessing, and embedding emerging technologies.
- We need extensive experience of 10+ years in senior technology leadership roles within digitally enabled, platform driven, or media led environments.
- We need hands on experience with AI and LLM platforms such as Claude and GPT, including an understanding of capabilities, trade offs, and enterprise adoption.
- We need working knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agentic AI architectures, with experience integrating AI securely and at scale.
- We need practical experience in enterprise AI governance, prompt engineering, and deployment approaches including RAG, fine tuning considerations, and risk mitigation.
- We need experience leveraging AI assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to materially improve engineering productivity and delivery outcomes.
- We need permission to work in the roles location by the start of employment.
Responsibilities
- We will define and deliver our technology vision so it underpins our strategic ambitions and accelerates transformation across the group.
- We will lead the delivery of a modern, composable architecture across proprietary platforms, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and core business systems such as Salesforce.
- We will ensure our technology scales and integrates effectively to support acquisitions and rapid business growth.
- We will build, inspire, and lead a high performing technology function spanning Engineering, Architecture, Data, and Systems.
- We will embed a culture of technical excellence, learning, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- We will champion Agile and product led delivery models that drive measurable business outcomes.
- We will define and execute an ambitious AI strategy, unlocking value from LLMs and emerging technologies while protecting governance, ethics, and intellectual property.
- We will design and oversee an internal AI operations platform that integrates enterprise systems, automation workflows, and data assets.
- We will establish robust AI governance frameworks aligned with regulatory expectations and industry best practice.
- We will drive AI assisted development approaches to improve productivity, quality, and speed to market.
- We will manage strategic technology partnerships and vendors to maximise value, innovation, and performance.
- We will set enterprise wide technical standards to ensure consistency, resilience, and long term sustainability.
- We will improve operational efficiency, availability, and performance across infrastructure and services.
- We will support strategic planning, financial oversight, and investment business cases at executive level.
- We will lead technology input into product and platform roadmaps aligned to business unit priorities.
- We will act as a visible, credible technology leader internally and externally, representing our vision and capability.
