About the role

The Stability Expert Group is responsible for the efficient delivery of pivotal stability studies and the data used for product shelf life assignment and dossier registrations.

Based in a fast paced analytical laboratory that supports up to 175 analysts, you will help produce future proof data to support shelf life assignments and registration requirements.

Reporting to the R&D Stability Senior Associate, the R&D Stability Assistant generates, reviews and reports stability data for assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulatory and cGMP standards.

This is an on site position based in Hull, with an expectation of five days per week.

Your responsibilities
  • Comply in generating and reporting long term and pivotal stability studies that are allocated to you.
  • Collaborate with the Stability Senior Associate on data trending, reporting and input into shelf life recommendations.
  • Work with the Stability Senior Associate, Health Category and Operations teams to meet agreed deadlines.
  • Maintain compliance with Health & Safety, Regulatory, Data Integrity and cGMP requirements; support OOT/OOS investigations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
  • Maintain audit readiness and participate in audits as required.
  • Coach and mentor other assistants and apprentices within the Stability Expert team.
  • Escalate and manage risks and issues in partnership with the Stability Senior Associate.
  • Support other key related initiatives as part of the wider group management team.
  • Foster an inclusive, innovative culture that encourages development and transparent processes.
  • Engage in continuing professional development and training programmes.
The experience we're looking for
  • Degree in chemistry, life sciences, pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Understanding of laboratory processes, stability and product development.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with agreed deadlines.
  • Hands on scientific mindset.
  • Openness to change.
  • Results orientated attitude.
  • Knowledge of regulatory, cGMP and Health & Safety requirements.
  • Proactive, resilient and motivated.
