Senior Solutions Architect, Solutions Architecture, UK

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for experienced and motivated technologists with expertise in cloud technologies, AI, Generative AI, and data analytics to join our UK Solutions Architecture team.

Our Solutions Architecture team works closely with AWS customers in the Travel and Hospitality industry to understand their unique needs and challenges. As a solutions architect, you will blend business acumen with technical guidance to engage organizations at all stages of cloud adoption, helping them reinvent their businesses using AWS technology.

• Work directly with customers to accelerate complex projects and align technological solutions with their long-term business objectives
• Build relationships with customers, including the C suite and Line of Business stakeholders, to establish yourself as their trusted advisor
• Share the voice of the customer to inform the roadmap of AWS features
• Participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content and new reference architectures
• Evangelise and educate about AWS technology through workshops, meetups, public speaking and other channels
• Develop areas of depth in technical domains relevant to your customer's outcomes and your interests

• Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience architecting infrastructure solutions using both Linux/Unix and Windows with specific recommendations on server, load balancing, HA/DR, & storage architectures
• Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking
• Knowledge of SAP systems (such as SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs
