We are recruiting three permanent Business Analysts to join our Digital & Technology Services (DTS) team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering digital transformation across the organisation.

As a Business Analyst, you will act as a vital link between business needs and technology solutions, working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, analyse processes, and identify opportunities for improvement. You will contribute to shaping how digital services are designed and delivered, ensuring solutions align with strategic priorities and deliver measurable value.

Working as part of a collaborative DTS team, you will support the delivery of complex projects and programmes, helping to drive efficiency, enhance services, and enable smarter ways of working through the effective use of technology. You will also help translate business challenges into clear requirements and actionable insights, supporting informed decision-making and successful change implementation.

About the role

Operating within a Digital, Technology Services (DTS) environment, this role supports the delivery of the digital strategy by applying structured business analysis to identify, define, and enable technology-driven change. You will ensure that digital initiatives are grounded in clear business needs, aligned to strategic priorities, and supported by robust analysis, requirements definition, and evaluation.

About you

We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong analytical capability and a solid understanding of how technology can enable business improvement. Comfortable working in a complex environment, this role requires the ability to manage competing priorities while engaging effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

Skills and previous experience
  • Proven experience operating as a Business Analyst within a Digital, Technology Services (DTS) or IT delivery environment, supporting the successful delivery of change across programmes and projects.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering business analysis activities across the full IT delivery lifecycle, including requirements engineering, solution design support, testing (UAT), and implementation.
  • Experience applying structured business analysis techniques such as requirements elicitation, process modelling, user stories, and use cases within digital and technology change initiatives.
  • Strong experience working with stakeholders across business and technical teams within a DTS/IT environment, including facilitating workshops and managing competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to apply analytical techniques such as root cause analysis, gap analysis, and impact assessment to complex business and system problems within IT delivery contexts.
  • Experience working with digital platforms and enterprise systems, ideally including CRM solutions (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) and web-based applications.
Qualifications and knowledge
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development in Business Analysis (e.g., BCS/ISEB, IIBA or similar).
